When I installed a new faucet, the first thing i did to "unsuckify" it was to drill small holes in the restrictor so I can have some water flow 🙂 You could just remove the entire airator but that sucks.
I did the same thing with the shower head 🙂

I "bought" a new mortgage at 2.5% for 15 years.
This will allow me to celebrate my last mortgage payment at age 85, rather than at 95.
The celebration will start at 3:30pm, right after my nap, and will have to shut down by 5:30, because I'll be feeling a bit fragile, what with all the excitement.

Bought a small tube of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal compound and a Deep Cool GAMMAXX 400 budget CPU cooler.
My main PC has been running very reliably on water cooling for the past 7 or 8 years, but this new Ryzen build is going to be creating far less heat (despite having far more compute power). The AIO water cooler is on its last legs at this point - so it'll be retired.
Motherboard and RAM already arrived. Today I should know for sure whether or not I got scammed on the CPU.

Today I placed a Mouser order,
To build a Musical Machine,
It doesn't have to cross the border,
So Customs needn't intervene... 😀
Sorry, I watched Blazing Saddles last weekend...

Wait - I think I overlooked that number. That's 22.5 kg, right? Holy cow - somewhere out there are a lot of angry bees.
On the other hand, there could be a lot of happy people, too! Mead, perchance? 🙂

Very!
The missus was just complaining loudly over the dinner table on Monday (she's the W and I'm the K):
W -Just used the last of the honey on baking bread, completely empty!
K - Okay.
W - When are we going to buy some more?
K - Allready did.
W - Oh... (Longer pause)
K - Just have to pick it up.
W - How much did you buy?
K - 9
W - ... (Longer pause) Buckets?
K - Yeah.
W - wow! How much is that?
K - About 22kg.
W - That sounds like enough for a little while.
Yeah, I got some juice from Riesling grapes laying about, was thinking of making a sparkling Riesling/Mead combo.

Today me newest VFD display arrived (from Ukraine *). I managed to crack one of my older and decided to buy a new (small one).
Today after Swedish custom fee:d med a $ or two and Swedish post fee:d me $7 for allowing me to pay the custom fee, I got the nice little displays (2).
*) These days I thinnk it's 100% better to order stuff from Ukraine than from Russia as Russia is slowly falling apart and the decay has definitely stryck Russian Post. I think, repeat I think, there's a CD to pick up at my post office and that CD was sent from RSFSR in April!!!!
Today, however I bouth a bottle of non-Coke Coke and a bottle of Tonic + a can of сгушонка. GUNFU know what it is.

Today I bought another 10 or so card toppers, with various themes, some alcohol inks, and an MP3 player, for my birthday (from SWMBO) in a few days.

Do it! I have a pretty good mead recipe from the C.J.J Berry wine makers "Bible" - honey needs lots of yeast nutrients, as it's very poor in that regard for fermentation.
I made Lingon wine, from IKEA cordial. That was amazing. Fermented well for 2 months, then stealthily for a further 6 months. Yes months. But it made a really pleasant, smooth wine.
I've got 2 gallons of Rhubarb wine I made last year from about 10kgs crop.
This year I got probably double the crop, but never cropped it for wine, and just picked a couple of stems a time for dessert.
The plant is huge now! Probably would've had 5 gallons If I tried, this year.
Rhubarb makes a nice, neutral quick maturing wine, good for blending, or drinking alone equally. New after racking its urgh...but 6 months or more aging and its smooth.
I imagine you have no trouble growing rhubarb up north?
But 22.5kg

That would set me back about £500 in the UK!

When we updated, it was time to stop squeezing blood from a stone and just enjoy having things you worked hard for. These two are worth it as you no longer need a side sprayer. They also feel heavy duty compared with many of their competitors.I decided to replace the whole thing instead of just the sprayer part. To my surprise I soon discovered that apparently kitchen faucets suck now!

Slight exaggeration..maybe £100. More if good quality
I got time, have to wait for the wild blueberry to calm down.Do it!
It's on the list though.
Yeah, all my wine is low&slow, process at ca 14c or a bit less to reduce some of the fusel alcohols and get a smoother flavor. I finally got the rhubarb growing a bit more since we moved house last year, didn't work out at the old place. Will have to wait a few years. The plant is huge now! It happened *again*, I got a deal from a relatively big producer, he does have a lot of hives. 😀But 22.5kg

Not sure I should tell you the price, but it was way below market value. It's sorted out from regular stock after a control he does sometimes (if asked nicely), he cannot sell it for full price because it has a very very slight contamination and he's an ex lab chemist with a bit of OCD.
As far as I can see it's all A grade stuff. Perfect for baking and brewing (and I sort out a fair bit of the bestest stuff to have with tea or on a slice of bread for sunday breakfast).

Just another EBTCM/BPMV from Pick n Pull, came out quite easily compared to the last one, as it was a later year and I had more experience.
Made it painfully aware that I need better Torx bits; the one I was using twisted into a spiral before I gave up. Luckily you only need to loosen only 2 out of 3 bolts to get it out if you don't need to reuse the hardware. I now realize that Torx is a crappy system.
