4.8L, for the USA it is a low flush. You can't get anything with a bigger tank any more.
The toilet it is replacing was made in 1973, and was probably a 4 gallon flush unit.Worked really well as it did a double flush, but used lots of water.

I put in 3 new toilets into this new house we're in. All 3 had issues: 1st needed shims as on very uneven tile, 2nd needed to be 1 piece (or side handle) to clear countertop, 3rd needed shims plus longer hose. All are Costco toilets and working well so far. Worst toilet I ever put in was back in 90's. It was Central or South American IIRC, and I think flushed poorly because they compromised design to save ceramic. Ridiculous.
Sweet car Cal, can you put down the seats and crash at the DIYfest in it?

Haven't tried that yet Tony. What I do know is that I'm very glad I had the Escape first so I am somewhat familiar with the cockpit. The number of buttons in there is mind boggling. I have wanted to treat myself to something for a long time and this is it. It's basically what I am taking for a wage out of the company this year.
I have tested all the features and safety stuff and some of them are going to take some getting used to. The lane departure feature for example. First you get the vibration in the steering wheel and next it bumps you back into your lane. That's kind of unsettling at first. One thing I really like though is the adaptive steering. That's really effective.
Since this is diyAudio, it behooves me to mention the Sony sound system. I quite like it as well.

I am glad. Both Hanh and I were full of smiles after the shakedown cruise we did in it yesterday. Rain sensing wipers are new to me but just the ticket for the Vancouver area.Hey Cal, looks nice! My landlord has one just like it (same color even), and he loves it.
. Rain sensing wipers
Yeah my Mazda has those. I didn't think much of them at first, especially in stop-and-go city driving with light rain, the system seemed to eventually get confused and just put the wipers into normal "on" mode. Then I was driving on a slushy highway in the winter. A big truck was approaching in the oncoming lane and I was moving my hand toward the wiper control to clear the inevitable spray, but the wipers reacted faster than I did and cleared the windshield for me. I was sold on the feature after that.
The horse is in the stable.
I see you got th Spirit Bear plates too. But the dealer advertisements are still holdng them… i always ask the dealer if they’ll pay me for the advertising, but they have all been tossed in the recycle so far.

Bought for next to nothing...
This is not audio related but I bought these, for effectively the fuel to drive the 1/2 mile to collect them.
Beautiful quite large wooden Vases, and makers name appears to be I. Bradbury or I. Bradley

LED Solar Landscape lighting.
Beats buried lighting, along with the transformers and the host of other associated junk you need by a country mile (in both cost and headache).
Plus, better for Mother Earth.
YMMV.

Wonder if it's this guy.

It was a empty house, I guess remnants of a house clearance. I was stunned when I looked at the base to find original price label still attached (£65)
I don't drive (what?!? I know. SWMBO isn't throttle shy as a rule, but we did see how quick 2nd gear gets you in a Ford Focus 1.8TDI !

I couldn't say for sure, over here in the UK I get several possible with I Bradley/Bradbury and I haven't tried the J initial yet!
Could well be semi amateur work sold at craft fairs, steam rallies and the like. I have a sweet sicamore fruit bowl I bought at one that's comparable. I've seen some fantastic woodturning over the last few years, it seems to be in resurgence.
I'm a happy buyer, and I may well keep all 3 (although I'm tempted to auction one off, if I find any providence (is that the right term?)

Yes (provenance), but take your time in case they're valuable.
I used to as well. I just don't bother anymore.i always ask the dealer if they’ll pay me for the advertising
YES provenance.
It was almost there....providence sounds like an insurance company!
It is. Providence Mutual |
Since my Audi 3.0 Avant was getting a bit long in the tooth...10 years and only 68,000 miles...and needed a new inlet manifold with all controls I dumped in in a part exchange for an A7 Fastback 3.o. 4 year old with 22,000miles at about 47% of original cost! Brilliant car and got £6,000 for the old one in Px.
Biggest wheels I have ever had on a normal car ...21".
Also extended my cameras to include a Canon 6D + a couple of decent lenses. Had to sell my last large format to do so. Good camera though.

As my pappy used to say "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all".
Another commode for the master bathroom. The tank is cracked, and probably has been for a while. I now have water damage to repair before replacing the commode.
