Wow..... I guess the slope of the hill will provide a good drain field.

My sister and BiL are rather close to the Puget Sound -next to a ravine that drains right to the Sound 1/16th of mile... so they have a complex two tank septic system. They have an electric pump to move things around so the back up generator is rather important. Plus the well.

It's definitely a different type of world. We're suburban with five Home Depots and four Costcos within 10 miles... I mean, it's NOT urban but in five acres we could put like almost seven figures of real estate.

Crazy huh?

Oh well, you could build a wild flower garden so you won't need to worry about rocks when you're mowing the lawn.

Those trees... a mixture of evergreens and deciduous? Over in the West Coast we have evergreens, oaks, Joshua trees and tumbleweeds. In suburbia we got most everything, naturally, but none are native. In San Francisco and Portland they got tents. In Hollywood they got Cher -the Oracle of Hollywood!

You know, it looks like your lot is big enough to do some shooting. My BiL can target shoot from his back porch... I'm sooo jealous.

RCA shorting plugs for unused amplifier inputs.

Okay. I wonder why they made it so obvious like that? Was it maybe a mistake they noticed in the price and simply pulled it?
I'd watch for it again.
That's not that uncommon. I've seen it before. They chose the cheapest fee option, which was likely auction with no reserve, got nervous at lack of good bids, and cancelled the auction.

Bought myself a used softball bat, found a good deal on eBay, which occasionally happens with used items within Canada, for what looks like a 2023 Worth Krecher for $126 incl shipping and tax. It's not the size or weight I normally hit with but I hope I can make it work.

No, if someone used an all aluminum bat even in a rec league, some laughing might ensue. Even the cheaper ones have some carbon fiber in them.

Thanks for the thought, but I am actually a poor, weak hitter. This is neighbourhood beer league. I just hate getting used to a borrowed bat and not being able to use it if the owner misses the game, and not being able to take it to a batting cage.

A Noratel Imed300 300VA medical isolation transformer. I have tried quite a lot of these and even the 2 kW type. Below 500 VA they are silent. This one has a power switch, mains filter, shielded mains cable and it has 4 outputs.

These offer a clear sonical improvement and I won’t even try to know why that is ;)

You are neither poor nor weak.
What wool are you trying to pull our eyes here big guy?
Yes, I can understand the beer part of beer league.
Are you in charge of the coolers?

Ah Big Cal, my health is not what it once was, been struggling with back pain all year and I avoid beer because my specialist says I need a low carb diet. What's really funny is if we play a young team, then the 30-somethings and 40-somethings on my team complain that they should leave us alone! Hello? If you drop by you can play, and be in charge of tunes and bar.
