hi i recently made 300 Watt MOSFET Real HI-FI Power Amplifier can i use b817 and d1047 tranisitor instead of 2SJ162 2SK1058 in my circuit..?
Nope... the 2SJ/2SK devices are lateral FET's, totally and utterly different to 'ordinary' transistors.
Its possible to replace the FET's in your amp with BJT's .....
I need to see the schematic....
Need to modify the biasing arrangement to accommodate the Base current...
Also need to re-configure the voltage the current division of the driver stage....
The question is if it's worth the hassle ???

In my amp ?
No, its designed exclusively for laterals and would need a redesign of the driver stages to use bjt's as well as incorporation of a vbe multiplier of some sort for biasing and thermal stability.

And instead of wasting time trying to mod that poor design, search for better ones here and straight build them instead.
