Yes! Thank you! I have the control board separated and replacing parts. I also own an 1970 Ampeg SVT bass amplifier, and turned it on to find out some of the big capacitors are shot. So I've got 2 projects going. The 9440a is quite the complicated amp. I appreciate any guidance I'm getting and learning here.

This is my first time ever seeing an 'SMD' as Trollet called them. I'm referring to the Stabistor on the control board, which I bought the one suggested above. I am assuming that the two 'rails' on the bottom of it is what I have to solder some legs onto, correct?? How do you know which rail is positive?? The side with the flat area or the side without???
