Just to clarify, is this correct;?

Then we have assumed that the Altec Lansing 299/8 has 6 degrees at the exit.

However, I have received the following from others;
The neck angle for the 288 is calculated at 3.6 degrees. From the center out to the side. 7.2 degrees across. Not sure if the 299 has the same angle, but it probably does.

Interesting. I never measured my 288s or 290s. Not sure I ever had 299s.
Just out of curiosity, here is a comparison of 3 throat adapters with the only change being the input angle. 6, 6.6 and 7.2 degrees. The 6 degree is the longest. The all have the same exit angle and entrance and exit diameters.

It would be interesting to check the angle in the Jabo kh55. How is this measured physically and what is used to measure it with?

Regarding the angle of the input in the Jabo kh55, I have a little trouble seeing where this degree is measured? This is proportionally increasing the further out into the horn we measure. So how far out does a tangent go?
