What are the pros/cons in keeping or removing the magnet cap from the back of the Apair P7? I am building a golden ratio(slim classic GR-dMar-Ken) enclosure & ready to cut the brace notch planet 10 plans show the cap in place, O know the interior volume will "increase"- how will that effect sound? -reduce bass? Port out the front
Thanks
Thanks
Little if the measures i did with the A7.3 1 & 2 magnets.
The driver will be shallower without the second magnet.
I have only ever use dthis feature once, expressly to quickly reduce driver depth to fit it into Maeshowe after we adde dteh Eexotic air chamber bits (much faster than cutting a hole for the magnet in the damping felt.
I would just leave it on. All the box designs assume it.

Thanks for the fast response.
Now I can resume my build. The 100 hour burn in on this driver, is that with 100 hours straight or 100 hours over a few weeks a few hours a day? What difference would it make?

100 hrs burn in get syou over the worst of it, but it needs real world use and say about 500 Hrs or so it should have smoothed out.
