Hi cowanrg.
Yes, you are right, they are indeed more expensive, but when you look that sometime we would buy expensive solder or wires or .... it comes to the point that we are wondering ourselves are we fanatics or not. Just kidding, but if you are really ready to build something that has already a good predisposition as a good project to sound good than I am ready to invest a little more and try to get max. from it.
Can you imagine that Digi-Key is out of Blue Panasonic 3 W resistors. douuugh.

Hi Peter.
I do respect your opinion and will order from Michael Percy Holco H4 resistors. Since you have a way better resolution on your system I will listen to your advice.
Thanks Peter.

I must be lucky than😉 , I bought a 100. I bought .82ohm. If they don't have 1ohm value how about something close to it. The absolute value is not critical as long as they matched to each other.
Well,
this is what I was looking for (from Digi-Key) P1.5W-3BK-ND, it is actually 1.5 Ohm 3W Metal Film Resistor.
They have in stock 0 pcs. ZERO!!!! douuggh
It looks to me that somebody will come up soon with an offer.

trigon,
im with you on that one. gonna just get holcos for now. they are MUCH cheaper and from what i hear, are pretty darn good for the price.
plus, the amps will be (by far) the best link in my system. the rest of my components will be the limiters. and until i upgrade those (a LONG time away), the amp will only sound so good...

Well,
I have just received an e-mail from Michael Percy and they say
that they do not have 10kOhm H4 any more instead they sending 10.5kOhm H4 same HOLCO type.
I am not sure haw crucial is this value of 10kOhm vs. 10.5kOhm in Aleph 4. ????
I do not think it is, but just in case. Well?
