Maybe try this. Its a bit cheaper than a pair of the above too.
Leave some space in the case for an eventual change of heart on a linear supply too.

And yes, this supply should be fine.
I should emphasise though that if you're a complete beginner, starting with an amp camp amp is a much better way to get a toe in the water.

You will need two of the usual single output switching power supplies to make a +/– dual rail supply. Take a look at a recent post (#2375) by tubesguy in "The diyAudio First Watt M2x" thread. This is a more advanced technique, because it will require some power supply filtration after the SMPS units, and careful wiring to get the +/– voltges. It may be easier to simply build a linear supply with a power transformer, bridge rectifiers and a couple banks of capacitors. These are well documented in the various First Watt build threads.
