I think it must have some tricks found in either the XA series or something from the F1/F2. If enough info can be gleaned on what is up here I will try to "kludge" the circuit myself.
Have an unused set of Mini A boards from KK in the closet. This might make a good starting point. Somehow I think it is still a single ended devise and an active current source.
