sounds like this board is not designed properly. should I just change out the cap board and get one from the Diyaudio store?The Grounding issue with this power supply board is that the Ground output is located in the middle of the C R C filter, not at the end of the C R C filter.
The V+ and V- outputs could be better positioned too.
The power is cleaner if all of the outputs are located at the end of the CRC filter.
The board was probably laid out for convenience of connections. The electrons find their way eventually to the correct place so the board is electrically functional. If your amplifier is quiet in your system with your speakers, you can leave it as is.
Thank you Ben mah for the info. I have 2 of the diyaudio power supply boards in my F5 turbo that I am not currently using. I may swap them out at least to match the colors of the other boards for symmetry.
