aleph 2 question

Just a quick question on Aleph 2. I am really interested in building it but maybe with lower rail voltage ? What modifications are needed to lower the output to maybe 50-75 wrms ? I understand that doing is probably considered to be a NO-NO, just try to understand me also in terms of finding the right heatsinks and all.

I would build something else, but a 50 watt version would be perfect

Why not build an Aleph 5? 60 wpc. +/- 34 Vdc.

Thank you for a quick answer ! I will look into Aleph 5, I was simply not aware of it.

fcel - my concern is availability and looks. I have seen a couple very nice looking heatsinks on passdiy gallery but have no idea on where to get something of that sort.

im in that posision too i like all tere heatsinks that they use and i also would like to get some but as where i am located i live in canada and it is hard to find these parts..

im a scrounger... anything junk ill take it

I am building the Aleph 5 with a little higher voltage and one more device in the output, biased the same as in Aleph 5 that has 3 devices. That means I use 4 mosfets. I calculated I will get around 70 - 80 Watts.
