Vitaly, glad to hear you are out of the hospital. Hopefully you dont have any long lasting symptoms. In Canada about 2% of people who get covid die. You are one of the lucky ones who was hospitalized and survived.
Stay healthy, stay safe.

Great look. Can I ask you to install a bigger heatsink plate than the PCB so it has enough space to drill holes and screw to the chassis directly?
Thank you
With the amp that I bought from him (many, many months ago) there was enough of thread length coming out of the bottom of his heatsink plate that another standoff could be attached to it and used as a possible attachment to another plate or the bottom of a case. See my picture of how I used a brass standoff to allow mounting to a second aluminum plate.
Cheers, Pete

No problem
Dear fellow members with still open orders: I don't want to step on anybody's toes but I think it is only fair to inform you that today I received the two boards.
They were originally shipped in March, returned and re-shipped on April 22. Since then there was no change to the parcel shipping status, until June 24 when it suddenly appeared in the EMS system. I did open a claim with PayPal on June 22 which I withdrew today. If the two are connected, I have no idea.
I sincerely hope that all orders will be completed and received. I will probably leave the amps aside for a while, just doesn't feel right....
On a side note: looking at the boards it is hard to believe all those tiny components were assembled by hand! Very clean.

I do have an update as well: I had opened a case for the case ordered in March - today I was informed that a refund is on its way - I do not know how PayPal came to that decision but that is the state of affairs...
the slings and arrows of entrepreneurship are filled with lessons to learn, what businessperson hasn't made a miscalculation in how long something would take, at what cost, and what obstacles might come up, add to the Covid, and global shipping issues, and well there are bound to be some disappointments, frustrated customer, etc. Dr Mordor glad to have you back, glad you survived Covid, you'll also survive this. Can you do better next time? Yes of course. I look forward to peoples comments on the sound quality, and to what new designs await in the future.
Guys, I have got my money back from Paypal. I hope the amps are coming for the ones who paid in november.
All paid amplifiers will be delivered
Thanks Vitaly but as I quoted earlier please keep us informed on who is getting the amp in the queue. Everyone is eager to know who is in the next per the PayPal payment priority and I hope you are following the same. As members like me paid in November, 2020 have not got the amp delivered but seems like some got it even though paid later.
We would like to have the clarity in terms of who are the list of members paid on priority and whose on the next list. As you are the one who received the payment please let us in order of priority of the payment getting the amp.
From those of you who have received amps - Any comments on what speakers you are using with them and comments on sound quality, imaging, bass, treble, air, dynamics, etc 🙂
@manniraj - unfortunately Vitaly seems to be completely deaf on this ear as you have repeatedly asked for this.....behaviour which speaks for itself (IMHO)....

Vitaly did a great job and I would like to thank Vitaly for that ...
I hope that the rest of the GB will get their amplifier soon. Then we can share the experience of what is good, what is not, and what can be done better .....

Thanks Vitaly would be eagerly waiting for your shipping information 🙂
Hi Vitaly, I paid on 17th Nov. Am I next in the queue?Vizeta, accepted.
I am preparing all ordered amplifiers for shipping.
Now I'm winding the transformers, a little differently than in the first revisions. and replaced Wima with Epcos in the power supply unit, as it turned out, Wima does not want to work as it should.
