Nearly there. Can you put L/R on scope ch1 and FSYNC on ch 2 with L/R clock as trigger and do the same with L/R clock and SDATA .
You are so kind!
Please find the requested pics. I have done a shot with overlapping and separated traces.
Thank you very much
1) Ch1: L/R, Ch2: FSYNC seperated
2) Ch1: L/R, Ch2: FSYNC overlapping
3) Ch1: L/R, Ch2: SDATA seperated
2) Ch1: L/R, Ch2: SDATA overlapping

In order to avoid programming, I am going to borrow from Marantz and Teac. The chips will be WM8804/SRC4192 or DIR9001/SRC4192.
would it make life easier if I would restrict it to 16bit/44.1kHz material (not a big constraint for me).
Thank you
Thank you
Hi,
I have equipment to do SOIC kind of packages at home and access to more professional gear at work.
Very curious!

That's a very good question...
it would be perfect if I could simply loop the existing digital signal paths through the new circuit and switch to SPDIF-in when on this input signal is available.
Would be also great if I could get the BAP1000 back to original state if necessary...this might have even the highest priority...
Sorry for keeping you busy on that
Thank you!

I found on Ebay DIR modules called DIR9001 DIR9001 module coaxial / fiber receiving I2S output 24bit 96khz | eBay that support 16bit I2S mode (16bit right-justified) or 24bit (I2S). Next to the output 256Fs is printed on the board. Not sure if one of these modes match.
Good idea. This board simplifies things.

Would be great. Should I order it?...shipping time is rather long and price low.
Don't worry if you are busy with other things. I managed to live for years with this status.
Thank you very much!

Might as well. It is a good price and I may be able to come up with a pcb for the ASRC in the meantime.
Hi,
the DIR9001 board arrived. Looks pretty good.
Clock is set to 256*fs but I checked the DIR9001 data sheet: just change the configurations on two pins to get 384*fs.
Thanks!
