Hello. I want to consult you and give me an opinion.
Some time ago I ventured into the vinyl.
I used as Rotel Phono preamps; nad; and I have built accor some DIY seen on the Web, such as P06 Elliott Solidphono TNT, with very good results both, especially the latter.
But as I have no means to measure the accuracy of the RIAA response, I'm still in search of perfection.
I have seen for sale AIWA C50 preamplifier of the '80s, and have seen their technical specifications.
In phono it has specifications that match and exceed the Rotel RQ-970BX.
Rotel as I heard it was on loan and in these latitudes are not achieved, I've thought about buying this pre AIWA to use as phono pre ($ 53).
Are saying ?.
I add that I've been looking to purchase a preamplifier as Pro-ject Phono Box s; Cambridge 551p and really are outweighed by the specifications of this AIWA. But the ear sends, numbers are one thing and the other is the performance ear. Regards.

If I can prove it. But usually in the point of sale can not be fully appreciated if there is any defect.
If consejan preamplifier that can be good, I'll buy my house and then I'll prove it with time.
Probably have to change some electrolytic capacitor which are aging. But what interests me is the phono section, and there I think is polypropylene capacitors.
Regards.
