adcom 5800 bias setting

Does anyone have info on bias setting for the adcom 5800? I have done a THRESHOLD s/200 with good results.

is this the SE or just standard? here is a link to tell you how to do it I am guessing you had to change the 220 uf caps and clean boards, I just did it on a 585 SE bias was fine did not have to mess with it at all. I will give ya the link

sorry you have 5800 my bad lol but still basically the same you need a dummy load just read the link

This is the early 5800 w/fans.

you should be able to do it the same as 585, read the thread,use a dummy load, -18 mv I think is what the thread said, I might be wrong, try it just do not hook speakers up till you know it's good, if you have a scope, scope it before you hook speakers to it
