Can I use my 6SL7 SRPP active preamp with TDA7492? I use such a pre now to feed my Dyna Mk III as their sensitivity is very low (about 1,2 V with the Poseidon upgrade).
I hear I cannot use any active pre with TDA7492. However, the signal from my NOS DAC is very low, with the Dyna I have to turn the volume almost full as my speakers are just of 84dB sensivity.
If I am careful with the this pre can I hope nothing really bad will happen?
I'd be grateful for some good advice.

Thanks. I have found my TDA7492 based Sure D-amp does need a pre although the manual says it does not.
