I could not get remove the "?" after my name on the wiki page. Regardless, my order stands.

The ? is just a link to edit a profile. I have no idea why some show and others don't, but I sometimes get 3-4 when I look at the WIKI, although today it is just one. Don't sweat it, as most will just see a link to you as I do.
No, it isn't too late 🙂
We are just working out the final details behind the scenes so we can get accurate costs out to everyone.

Hi,
I saw this interesting group buy thread yesterday, and I am very interested in it. But I haven’t had time to really look in to it and wonder if anyone knows if it with four boards is possible to set up a balanced solution?
Anyway I have signed up in the WIKI page for 8 boards plus 4 PSU boards.

The output of the AF4 is single ended. It will accept balanced inputs, though.
All you'd need would be an inverting buffer for each output driven from the input of the buffer stage on the AF4 board. Quite easy to do on a piece of perf board.
The Twisted Pear guys have a much more elegant supersymmetric SE- balanced board if you don't feel like making our own. http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/txd/txd.aspx You could use your exiating PSU 2.2 to power it.
Just FYI, PSU 2.2 will deliver 500 mA, ennough to power 4 fully loaded AF4. You don't need 4 for your 8 crossovers, but it is handy to have extra power supplies.

i wanna get in!
Hi there - im interested in this group buy of PCBs.
im looking for something to lay a simple active x/o out onto for a pair of active 2-ways. they will be mounted inside the speaker along with the amp.
whats the situation with powering the x/o? was hoping to use the plug top psu the the amp (sonic impact) uses. is this going to work out? or should i be looking at a dedicated power supply?
thanks in advance for your help.
by the way - count me in for 4 AF4 pcbs, unsure about the power supply boards..
cheers
Dan

All the AF4 needs is clean +/-12 to15V .
I don't know what plug your amp uses, but you could wire something in fairly easily if the voltage is correct. If the rails are higher you could use a PSU2.2, bypassing the rectifiers.

Greetings from New Zealand! If its not too late I would like to register my interest in 4 AF4 boards and 2PS boards. I'll put it in the WIKI as well! Cheers, Marco
Thanks, i am going to use the tripath 2022 on the 41hz amp-3 board so 12v supply is ok for both.

For the sake of argument, why don't we say that this buy will close out on April 25th to get this moving?
I still need to work out details with my conconspirators off line, but I hope payment details will be posted soon. Pricing will be $5 each for either board. Quantities are such that board prices are a touch under that with shipping to the two distributors. The excess will be donated to this forum.

hate to be a pain, but 17 pages groupbuydiscussions (probably layout related though) ... could someone put a reference to a schematic in the wiki please? or other relevant information?
as far as I understand, this is groupbuy no X , X is not 1 or 2 here ..
