Other than the heat sinks the tallest components on the board are the pass transistors and main caps at 25 mm. Figure 35 mm high with 1/4" standoffs.

A 1" heat sink Mouser 532-531002B25G will suit a nominal 15 VAC input at 500 mA - dissipating about 3W in a 35C environment you will have a junction temperature of ~100C.

Only three PSUs left for sale...

All AF4 boards are sold. There should be a small surplus after shipping to donate to the forum.

Some progress has been made on the power controller/muting circuit I mentioned a while back. Some details are on my website. I'll be posting more there shortly.

Suggestion for a Mk II board. The output buffer set to have gain, x2 will do. This has come up because I'm trying to use a single board with an existing pair of balanced drive commercial monitors to provide a sub output, and the losses in the system as is means I have less level on the outputs than required. I can either cut traces and reconfigure the output buffer or use another of the spare eq stages to get some gain, but that means another chip. Not ideal.

Noted. Thanks for the input Al.

I've also been thinking about dual footprints for filter caps to allow FKP3 and other larger caps, as well as adding another all pass or two and possibly a THS413X line driver. I need to buy a more capable copy of Eagle or figure out how Kicad works. 😉 It may just be a pipe dream, I am about to get very busy at work.

m0tion - Jens posted the schematic and layout Here and I added it to my site Here

True, but then you either have to find someone to panelize them for you (I've had an offer that I don't want to abuse) or spend a fortune on mounting hardware.

I need to get something built with these before moving on to the next board, anyway. 😉

Abuse? Now listening to the spice girls, that's abuse! 🙂

In case anyone has the same problem, the mod for adding gain to IC9.
