Sorry, I haven’t developed multi-DAC types with ext clock sync. Only 8-channel ones (on a board) driven by the same local clock for 2x4Ch L/R output. I heard AES67 can do this ext sync. Something to look in future if there is sufficient interest…
That’s the only reason for using AES67. Otherwise you might as well just use Roonbridge. It’s not actual Ravenna you’re using if this functionality isn’t available.
The functionality is available already, being AES67 compliant but not tested yet as a system with two separate 4 ch DACs
Hi Ian, I am just going through your message, thanks and will respond soon.
Yes, I am trying to gather more information on typical scenarios for multi-channel applications so appreciated all the reports

Migrating design to use the latest chipset AK4191/AK4499EXEQ, stay tuned🙂

The samples are already spoken for. If anyone need these parts just let me know as more orders planned

First happy programming... and please post the results 😉 as new higher order SDM and resistor switching 😀
the AK4191 seams to be from year / week 21 / 28 and the AK4499Ex as 22 / 14 ...
Is the final version in Dual mono configuration with AK4499EQ in the final version of the release?
