You don't like pro drivers? Don't infer anything because you may have heard some badly crossed ones.they seem targeting the PA sector

That Dayton woofer is the replacement woofer for the woofer I used in my 8" two-ways. The midrange is tamer and the peaks have been reduced 4-5 dB over mine. On paper it looks better than mine except for xmax (8mm vs 7 mm).
Be warned that it's not really 8" but closer to 9". In reality it's a metric size and is not a drop in replacement for an 8" woofer. Should be no problem for custom cabinets.
