Fission will not run out in centuries of increasing usage, because, though uranium mines are quite limited,
a) lots of uranium in seawater
b) lots more can be extracted from minerals
c) thorium can be used as fuel
d) safe breeder reactors can be built
waste is not that much of an issue, and there is technology to deal with it (see, for example accelerator-driven transmutation of waste)

Of course they want. Neither will switching to efficient, under performing, expensive appliances make a difference. These people, environmentalists, will come up with any excuse to halt progress and bring us "closer to nature". They are true misanthropes and fanatics.AdamThorne said:I have to wonder how CD's dying (even if it were to happen) would save the world?
