Has anyone tried using regular kitchen plastic wrap for a membrane? I'm just looking for a pure diaphragm material - will be adding the traces separately.
Also, what Tesla strength is considered sufficient? The design I'm working on gives ~0.2T across the membrane in Femm.
Thanks in advance!

diaphragm material
I stopped using plastic diaphragm material too much trouble stretching, the material I use now is just stuck straight on,and works perfectly for me.

Of course, why not. That never occurred to me. Interesting. But paper would be more fragile, no? Also because it won't stretch it must also be vulnerable at high spl?
