832, can you go SE with these?

The topic has ben opend before, but not answered.

Could one make a 1 tube stereo SE amp with this?

The common approach is to ho pp with these, because the screens are common.

But, i i'd make a regulated screen supply, does that matter?

in PP the both halves have very different (180 degrees) signals to work with!

If i would go for grounded kathode, fixed bias and regulate the screen supply. Could i make a stereo amp?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use them, but you would still need a driver tube so it would be at least a 2 tube stereo amp. The characteristics look like a sweep tube (a small one) and you could use a similar circuit. Other than the uniqueness factor I could think of better wasy to make a 2 tube stereo amp (2 X 6EM7 or 2 X 6LU8).

well,

I have this tube, just this one tube.

I have a cool fullrange speaker and one output transformer to go pp

I'd like to fiddle around with the tube. Then this "could i" q popped up.

the 2 tube thing isn't that much of an objective, though a nice thought.

maybe the fullranger wit this tube in pp would be an ok center speaker/amp, in combination with my big pp for front and my ecl86 stereo for rear....

but that's far future😉
