8 channel analog volume control

I read the pdf shared above and I saw your layout with two pga2320 but couldn’t understand if it was ground poured on both layers, you haven’t used op-amp buffer so is there any specific reason.

The board I made is single layer.

You could do something very simple with a switchable attenuators for your course volume adjustment (say -30dB). A balanced inline attenuator is only 3 resistors (try to use 1% at least to avoid degrading CMRR), if you disconnect the + to - leg resistor you remove the attenuation. I use -14dB inline attenuators to match the output of my DSP to my amps to optimise SNR and it works great!
