Well I'm looking for a replacement LCD. It is the Hitachi TX18D11VM1CAA. Know of any places to get it from?
So it sounds more like a brown FCC connection issue rather than the small Hitachi board itself?

Hmm before you go buying a new one few more things
1) The white fcc cable, any burn makrs on it?
2) White fcc, any tiny tiny cracks?
if you really think its broke and theres no chance of getting it to work plug it all in over again and push the connectors in as far as possible then while its on move the lcd / pcb mini 1 and see if theres any change in the display.

Did digitalww sell you just the LCD itself? I cant find on their site where they offer just the LCD.

Hi, i got the lcd itself, as he had some other enquiries about the mini pcb board etc, email him and ask him, he is a freindly chap so you may be lucky.

I emailed digitalww today about getting the LCD and/or the mini-pcb connected to it.
I recieved my copy lens a couple of days ago and my light kit should be coming sometime this week I hope. Also waiting for my optics from Ace. I cant wait to start building!
Everyone make sure you are extra careful with your LCD. In fact, don't even mess with it until you need to. I found that out the hard way 🙁

Digitalww said they could get me a new LCD for 110 shipped. I guess thats my only option for now. If I break this one, I am afraid that I will have to scrap the project.

Ok well I got it all together and I'm kind of disappointed. It isnt very bright at all.
