Does not make sense...like in....."It is not possible to connect the SRPP to another stage via a transformer"?

I am sorry, but it once more illustrates that you have no clue.
It is no shame to be ignorant, understand me well.
What irritates me like hell is that you do not seem to be able to read on the subjects first before posing senseless questions or making pointless suggestions.
Maybe you could have your transformer man do some checking before posting.
This might sound arrogant but it is not meant so.
I remember that for me it took a couple of years to understand tube basics; it is not that difficult, and there are loads of info on the www.
For instance John Broskie's John Broskie's Guide to Tube Circuit Analysis & Design is very useful and readable.
Books on the subject by Morgan Jones.
Look at Pete Millett's website where you can find almost everything on any subject.
I am sure that it will be more fun for you too when you understand the basics, and it will have a beneficial influence on the level here.
