Hello Johnny seen you asked I managed to dig it out , I didn't realize it but I think its Japanese -Osawa .
Not only has it parallel lines but at the two indicator poinbts its cross-hatched for accuracy done pretty finely.
You line it up to point "A" first and then point "B".
Here is some photos & info of the Ortofon version -
Cartridge alignment tool- Vinyl Engine
Bl--dy ,ell ! a later version is selling at £90 .
The world has gone crazy the original which I have is gone on eBay.
Crazy indeed!
Back in 1974, I purchased my Dual 1229, it cost me about $260.
A Shure V15 Type 2 cartridge for it cost me $67.
And the Shure SFG-2 stylus force gauge cost me $6.79. (which I still have)
I just checked a website for the SFG-2........ and one supplier is selling it for...
Hold on now....
$109.99
CRAZY!
Wow, I thought the $30 I normally see them at was extortion.
I think I paid $10 in the mid 90’s.
Useless to me now as I use MC’s.
The magnets will suck that beam right up!

I apologize, I interpreted your other statement incorrectly.
I thought you designed and marketed you own protractor.
Thanks again.

My SFG-2 sits idle in the drawer for a long while now.
So does my Garrard gauge.
I use a $10 digital scale now.
