Hi Guys, I thought I would share some images of a build im doing for a client in South Africa. The ribbon is a 5 segment it measures 6 ohms resistance and is 18mm wide and 35" long. The client wanted a narrow baffle similar to the B & G Radia 520i. The baffle is 1.1m x 220mm wide. Iv used nylon bracing bars to try and keep the flux centred between the ribbon. My magnets are N37 3/4" x 2" x 1/4". My pole pieces are 3/4" x 3/4" solid bar (No idea how this measures on Femm)

Vary nice..........is the foil on bouth sides?...look to be free hanging?.......one thing I never got to hear was the two sided Apogee Stage 26" ribbon.......
I gess it would have gave more image hight....but was on mylar not capton so it could get hot an fail...but not minny did.... so I have read...........but who knows
thanks for the pic

Would you share on how you attached the magnets to the steel structure? Are they glued, or do they hold themselves in place?
Thanks
Thanks

The ribbon is attached every 180mm to the nylon braces.
No need for glue once they on the pole piece they wont jump towards each other.Would you share on how you attached the magnets to the steel structure? Are they glued, or do they hold themselves in place?
Thanks
For give me..............but I though that had to be glued??
My point is that the apogee 26" has a open spot at the top an bottem of 1 1/2"....an that I could add magnts if I wished... ....
thay did this on later 26"ribbons to get more output?
with the magnets just holding there self.... I could see if I like the sound...if not I could just pull the magnets off......
Thanks

Any idea of the sensitivity of the ribbons? I have some Apogee Centaur Minors and other than somewhat low sensitivity, I love the sound of the ribbons.
Thanks for sharing your project.
