3-way vs room layout

Thanks Allen, other than the wide soffit/baffle creating a 180-degree/2pi pattern I confess that I hadn't really thought much about directivity in this situation; something else to ponder then.

As this thread has identified soffit mounting as the ideal way of using my room, I will probably start a new one specifically on that. There are clearly some interesting advantages to it and also some unique design requirements.
