I find that as you learn, re-reading all the previous advice often helps a lot as you understand more and have more skills to actually use that earlier advice. If you are not ready, some things go over your head, but you are able to take the same information in later.
Trial fit of drivers on baffle after painting, neoprene lining and drilling. All seems OK.
The weight of the front baffle assembly is about 10kg 🥵

I was going to ask about those holes...kit light pipes
Thanks for keeping us updated, it's great to follow!
Remote kit PCBs (both sides).
Only one is required for the master/slave pair to work, but I am using two for visual symmetry and to be able to see status indication on both speakers, although it is not documented if each unit will display status of its own amp individually or just repeat from the master. Could do with a clarification from Hypex.

Weights:
The main box is now 8kg
Plan to add a bottom weight for stability, about 3kg
Back panel with amp 4kg
Front baffle with drivers 10kg
Total estimated weight 25kg

Hypex responded quickly and clearly: each unit displays the status of the amp it is connected to. Good.
The first of the front panels glued on. This is nearly the final look (less a few driver bolts and the back panel). Getting there.
I think I need to replace the logo with something better.

For what it's worth, I put a custom logo my last build. I used AI to generate a couple dozen images that I could engrave with my laser until I found one I liked, then added my initials and the year. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
Second front panel goes on today.
Neoprene lining on box, align and glue panel on. I will then add 14 screws per panel. The panel is ‘floating’ on the neoprene lining.

MF chamber lined with bitumen and foam. 45deg panels glued in - these panels is what the midrange driver’s backs will see. Then the reflection is facing this:
View in through the midrange driver hole to the 45deg panel behind it. The two side walls (pic top and bottom) will get another wedge of foam. The reflection goes left where there is lots of 5cm deep wedge foam.
Nearly there.
Nearly there.
Soldering day.
Cannot figure out which cable is which channel. Hypex manual says ‘main module’ is the 4x connector (red/black, blue/grey) and ‘additional module’ is the 2x connector (red/black). But it does not say anywhere which of the three channels is the tweeter (100W). I think the main module is 2x 250W. If so, the ‘additional’ one will be the tweeter. So I wired the blue/grey to the midrange.
