For those that haven't seen the threads over in Fullrange, Hemp Acoustics has had some fullrange (widrange) drivers out for a few months. I've got a couple pairs, and they are incredible. Omega Loudspeakers is building a model with an OEM version. Hemp Acoustics makes promising looking midbasses too, though I haven't seen any remarks from users. I'm not sure I can use a 25" sub. Somebody surely can. I'll be curious to see what "priced competitavely" means.
They said April for availability, well what do you know, an audio company missing a release date for a product. Is there any new info on when this is going to be available, or what it will cost?

Too bad they use hemp fiber and not the flowering top....

The Fostex 31.5" woofer is about that much per driver at Madisound. But the cone is non-hallucinogenic. What a ripoff.

Big but that xmax is pitiful even if it were a 10" woofer(PIONEER A25FU20-53F 10" 2.4mm Xmax ,fw800n =2.5mm xmax!).I wouldn't want to pay for two of those monsters.I'd think you'd need two to make serious bass no?Seems more tuned for sound reinforcement or a mega-buck OB or IB quad array eh?
I think that Tsuzureko 25 looks a bit more promising.
