Is it possible to get 100W of power with a 17-0-17V, 5A supply (obtained from 12-0-12 tfr) in fullbridge configuration?
i need to get 250W (at least 100W worst) into 4E. I have 25-0-25 3A tfr. Does it seem possible in anyway?
even if you bridge you might get as high as ~30V peak into 4ohm which will still not be 100W into 4 ohms.
So what power suppply should i use to get
a) 100W into 4 ohms?
and b) 250W into 4 ohms?
and how many amperes?

30V peak is actually a little more than 100W into 4 ohms. Prms=Vpeak^2/(2*R)=112.5 W. If somebody doesn't know these elementary calculations, then I suggest him not to build any amplifiers.
But for those who are capable of designing something (and have good soldering skill), I recommend TAS5162 or similar power stage for this power level.

As I said, if somebody can't answer to this trivial question, I don't recommend him to build anything. I think Mathematics of elementary school is a neccessary knowledge. Or at least a minimal common sense.
In your schematic the LM319 limits the power supply to +/-18 V, you can't use more.

TAS5162 doesnt seem to be available in around here. So i prefer to go discrete.
IR2110 and other controllers are supposed to be inverter spare parts and are easily available.
Can somebody suggest a transformer power supply capable of providing 100W and 250W into 4E?

See, first of all, i am taking suggestions and opinions.
And according to me, 20V rms (28V peak) into 4 ohms is 100W power.
But still i would like to hear suggestions about changing the power supply.

I am posting it here because i am ready to take suggestions from experienced people and modify the schematic accordingly. I understand that I need a level-shift from -18V of the LM319 to use higher power supplies.
Somebody help me.....

Hi, I think this can help you.

Thanks. I m through it. But i dont recognize the BJTs. Any substitutes?
Hi,
yes, I tested 2N5401 and complementary, it is good.
level shifter is very good.

indeed i did make a stupid mistake there 🙂 28v peak into 4 ohms is 100W.
