It looks like Kevin Haskins and I will be heading to Canada early Saturday Morning.
Wow, Kevin! I haven't seen him in ages, I don't think he went to the last 1 or 2 I attended. Great!
If Capt. X is going, I'm not. Especially if he brings that Kevin guy.
Seriously though, it seems life gets in the way sometimes so I will be missing this year. Just too much to do. Dave can tell you on the weekend.
I hope everyone has a great time and we'll be seeing you all next go round.
Too bad Cal! I would have loved to have seen you again. I am actually at RRU for 3 weeks, so let me know if you are going to the island another time in that time frame.
If you're interested, I have both a JBL2242H (18") and an Altec 416-C (15") I'd love to sell.I know it's not something you carry but just in case you had a 15" PA/MI driver I would be interested.
a roll call might be nice, so we can arrange valet parking for those Porsches and Ferraris - driveway clearance and all that
Could I have a flatter place for park my 250GT California Spider please. Last year I scratched the oil pan.

whatsa wheelbase on that purty lil 'talian puppy? 94.5" or 102.4"???
buy two 8' or 10' 2 x 10s at a home depot on the way, and a little roll of baling wire
wrap one end of each with 3-4 wraps of the wire and thence to the undercarriage or rear axle, drive about five miles and then switch ends of yer 2-bys, "wow! two ramps."
lay over the rough, but probably soggy soil when you get there,
and park on top. duct-tape a makeup mirror to a broom stick and peek during the whole process. you might even have enough time to check out some audio delights, or pick up a tasty treat.
"see, ma, I'm clean! no scritchy-scratchy down below! as good as papers on a socal pornstar! you can both see, and feel, the difference!"

nothing soggy about the driveway in late August - but it is a "bit bumpy"
all kidding aside, I've negotiated that driveway in all weather conditions proffered on the wet coast - more so than any event attendees other than Dave, and I think it'd be tempting fate to do so with any low road clearance vehicle

Just make sure she's got day-time running lights and turn signals - the RCMP is one thing, but those guys from CVSE can be brutal - in a " how's yer day goin' , would you step out of the vehicle, eh?" sorta way
Hope you do make it with that ride, 'cause the driveway could use some clearing out - just bring the mine plow and rear scraper blade attachment.
Oh, and that first corner off the Victoria Coho dock is a bit tight.

Not sure how many out of towners are coming and using up camping space. Would it be alright if I camped? My wife and kids will come down and play in Victoria and so they thought it would be fun to camp and play in Vic the next day, but all the sites are full of course. I said Dave might have room.
We are expecting no major difficulties, other than perhaps at the Border
I don't know Terry, those CBSA personnel have some pretty mighty water pistols. Keep the hatch firmly battened.
Sure it would be alright Ryan.

and regretable as it might be, Cal's absence might invoke a more family friendly atmosphere
what am I saying, we've still got chris, Terry, Kevin, and probably ScottD to contend with
Time to step up to the plate my friend. Make sure you have a good grip on the railing.he'll be lost without his (brother from another mother), we'll have to find him a suitable surrogate
family friendly atmosphere
I warned my wife there will be loud music and drunk people She's desparate to stay for some reason, so I think it would be prudent for me to take away her credit cards
I think I found a place with space. I said we could get a hotel but she thinks it's a waste of money. Ever camped at the Cedar Springs Ranch on the malahat? Used to be a KAO. Looks ok on the website.
