Hi diyers wanting some big bookshelf like old vintage stuff big woofers

Im just curious on a combo of drivers and if they'd work etc

Dayton audio dc300-8 12inch classic woofer

Dayton audio rs52an-8 2inch dome mid-range

I'm thinking a 800hz crossover depending on phase relationship
The slopes and polarity on the mid I'd play with

I'd put these in a sealed enclosure 40-50litres braced and damped

Just after some thoughts on how it may sound if anyone has done this cheers
If successful for full warm sound that isn't too bright soft on top end but clear
I'd have 2 built if it's good I'd have 5 or 7 built

OK amps and speakers I have at the moment
Toshiba aurex sb m5
Cambridge audio azur 751r v2
Goldenear Titan fives mains
Aaron flagship centre speaker
Aaron flagship surround bipoles

I getting my big warm sound and kicks from my outdoor do system
2 hk audio projector mid highs
2 arx/art audio ka118 hybrid folded horns

Thanks for reading

Consider... a 12" Econowave.
The $75 Dayton DS315-8 has been used in a few econowave designs with the $10 PRV WG35-25-B or $13 Dayton SEOS12 waveguide and the $100 B&C DE250-8 1" Polyimide compression driver.
--The "expensive" $100 B&C DE250-8 has great sound with a wide range of proven crossover circuits to justify the cost.
--The $40 Dayton D250P-8 1" Polyimide Compression (2-bolt & screw)Horn Driver will work in the econowave crossovers, but you will get a "rougher" sound.
