as phase inverter....
I reckon they would be an awesome pi tube for marshall builds, or any builds that employ 12ax7 as pi for that matter

5ma, 220V anode, Gyrator loaded, would sound good, especially if you believe that you are in love with 2'Nd order harmonics.
Yes, but software needed mu, ex, kg1, kvb parameters. Is there manual or article how to convert it or software converter? I've tried paint kit model, but curvecaptor model better for me.

Has anyone come across a design that use the 12BZ7 outside of guitar amps?
I found these in my collection of schematics.

PCL200,
Using the 12BZ7 differently than single ended:
With the cathode coupled phase inverter, and the CCS in the cathode circuit,
The 2nd harmonic is intrinsically cancelled.

How come that -30VDC magically shews up off the rectifier cathode? There is a way to get the -30V bias required but this won't work.😱
If you would like to do something really unique, a single or two 12BZ7s as zero bias Class B amps would be interesting. The kind of thing that was used as an AM modulator, it can drive a loudspeaker too.🙂
The examples are based on the 12AX7.

Good point. I just binned that schematic.
