I am not sure where to post it but I will take a chance and post the resaults here.
I have spend plenty of time with A9 based amp, lot of listening tests, measurements, swapping the resistors over and over (I only have to match VAS load resistors - I do not know exacly how to calculate them). The key was to find proper ratio (gain) in fallowing stages. I was recalculating bias in all stages with differed ratios + splitted NFB values and the bellow setup gave me the best resaults - H2 is dominating all the way threw audio band and the harmonics spectrum is very flat, amp sound superb.
Simple suff can sound and perform very well. Bellow prototype board and schematic.
Highly recommended!
Thanks Mile.

Nice work, can you share your OS
Regards
yes, like this
Sir Apex sir thank you so much sir..god bless you sir..
The OPS is based on the HK/Slewmaster. The temperature compensation works very well.
Files are bellow, it is not easy to solder, board is small and dual layer.

Thank you,

Im not sure if this is a good question or not but any recommendation on the first Apex amp i should build? I am thinking of a bass guitar head for my daughter, driving a closed quad box.

Mile thanks. I have looked at that before. I would like to separate the pre amp from the amplifier. This will allow me to tailor the solution a bit.
I like your a 14 and ax 14 a lot and am wondering if they would be a good solution?
