ABJ, i would need more info, hard to understand how a straight piece of foil has an imp of 2 ohm ?
The aluminium just have to be thin. I am using imitated leaf silver on a roll (aluminiun).
Allways nice too make the improbable possibel.The sound this ribbon makes is very ear pleasing.
I have not heard every thing one the planet,but this is the bedst ribbon I have heard.

As you said that you have a roll of it ,I have been trying to find some thin aluminium for years that is long enough and wide enough to Do a large ribbon!
All I have been able to find are 6" X 6" sheets at a craft store.

and you can actually get leaf silver, on paper rolls
that is indeed interesting
that is how they make the finest and expencive frames for paintings
very very thin and fragile

but put on properly, and its strong an durable
a fine brush is used for laying it onto the object

Did you use Washi paper? I think it goes down to 2.5 microns, but the sheets are small. Also how did you managed to corrugate it? All my attempts ended in
crumpled pile followed by swearing.😡

I use capacitor paper from a now closed capacitor factory.
No problem too corrugate when sandwiched with paper.
It is very strong ribbon. the planar ribbon in the youtube clip
is crossovered at 200hz. Ok very step digital filter.The 1meter
true ribbon is crossed at 1000hz 12db
