Does anything on the output driver boards go bad when the outputs blow ? Just wondering if something is common on being defective before pulling the amp apart fully
One last question do you know of a good replacement for the power supply fets IRF3707?
There are a few mis-marched fets
There are a few mis-marched fets
I only see one supplier with those in stock .
Wondering would the IRF1404 be a good sub for the fets ? And if so what gate resistor value should I use the original is 47 ohm

They are very different FETs. I don't have a good known sub.
The FDP8874 and the FDP6670AL are given as possible subs on octopart.

Anyone have the left side plate off a parts amp ?
The one I have here is broken .
If anyone has one and willing to sell please send me a message

After I replace the outputs do I need to mess with the pot ?
Also I ordered the wrong package size for the gate resistors will the 0805 package style resistors survive or do I need the reorder the 1206 package or I have some good 20 ohms resistors in the correct package size of those will work

I have no specs for pots settings. I would leave them as is.
Either the 0805 or the 20 ohms would likely work. If you use the 0805, check their temperature after the amp is up and running.

I replaced the outputs in the amp and used the 20 ohm resistors .
Amps leds flash from power to low v
Does this mean I need a stronger supply or any ideas why the amp is doing this

That certainly could be the problem. Clamp the FETs and insert a 15 amp fuse to test on the larger supply.
How much input voltage can these amps take ? I have my cmax battery but it’s charged to 15.5 volts .
Is that to much voltage for these amps ?

I don't know what the upper limit is.
What size supply are you using?
Do you have a regular battery that you could use?

I have a 13.8 volt 40 amp supply that I’m using to try to power it up .
I don’t have a regular battery only a cmax .
Unless I try to hook it up to my truck battery under the hood

Ok I got it powered up but there is 95 volts of dc measured directly across the speaker terminals
I have 95 volts measured directly across the speaker termnails .
I noticed on one of the Mic4420’s that I have 10 volts on pin 6 is this normal or could it be defective ?

You should see a square wave on the input and output pins. If the IC is defective, you may not see that. Leave the amp off for about 10 seconds, then pulse the remote (on then immediately off) For about 15 seconds, you should see the square wave drive described above.
