There have been several requests to do another Cinemag 1254 step up transformer group buy. Delivery time will likely be 8 weeks from date of placing the order. Price for the standard configuration would be $190 per pair. The center threaded bushing would be $200 per pair. Only one type per order, minimum 10, so we need to decide on the most desired configuration.
Price breakdown is as follows:
The price for standard mount will be:
CM-1254 pair $190.00
CA Sales Tax 9.5% $ 18.05
Pro rated shipping from Cinemag $ 5.00
Priority Mail Insured (U.S.)* $ 10.75
Total $223.80
The price for center threaded bushing mount will be:
CM-1254 pair $200.00
CA Sales Tax 9.5% $ 19.00
Pro rated shipping from Cinemag $ 5.00
Priority Mail Insured (U.S.)* $ 10.75
Total $234.75
* International Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box will be quoted individually, but expect $27-$40 USD
Payment to confirm your order should be made immediately after the GB is officially closed. This will allow me to commit to the exact number of transformers and confirm production scheduling with Cinemag. I would look to the GB being closed on August 31, to get the order in before the U.S. Labor Day holiday.
Cheers,
Geary

I’m in for a pair. Either configuration is good for me as long as we can meet the minimum qty required.
Any chance to include a PC mount?
There was not much interest in the PC pin version last group buy. There is an additional up charge for the PC board mount version, but I do not know how much.
There is a minimum of 10 units, per configuration, to get the group price. Let's see what the response is for the other versions.
Cheers,
Geary
Hi Geary,
I saw your post on the Bottlehead forum. First of all, thanks for doing this group buy again. I will take a pair of either configuration, but I prefer the threaded bushing mount.

Good! Looks like we have met the minimum order quantity. The center threaded bushing is the preferred configuration.

FWIW there is a listing on the The Auction Site for pc mount 1254s for $185 each. But I doubt that the mfr's upcharge is that high.
join for two pairs: Cinemag 1254 SUT Round II
I would like to join the group buy for two pairs, either mount is OK but I think center is easier to mount in enclosure, so prefer center mount.
Thank you Geary for arranging this !!

Yep! that appears to be pretty much retail. The standard config is $180, the center bushing $185, so maybe that is the same upcharge as the PCB mount. My concern is our discount is based on a single order quantity of the same configuration. So, not sure Cinemag will give the quantity price for the "one off" configuration.
They have always been easy to work with, so I will see what I can do when we get close to the final numbers!!

Does any of you ever wired them for 1:10? Any diagram or picture of the 1:10 wiring? Thanks in advance. AB

Hook up primary windings in series for 1:10 ratio.
i.e Connect Orange and Yellow together on the primary, keep Red and Green open. Brown is + and Blue is minus for signal connection.

Thanks for the reply. Very clear!!! I’ll follow the indication.
Any “best” way you guys do the wiring for the ground? Also do you isolate the rca from the chassis or you have them in contact with it?
Thanks in advance.

There is no "best" way. Please see Post #165 from the link below, it might work for you. In my unit, the RCA's are isolated from the metal chassis. Thanks for the reply. Very clear!!! I’ll follow the indication.
