Importand information!!!!
This Noises comes from my 3D Printer running 24/7 Printing Waveguide Parts, so don't mess around with 😉
Got me realy a Headache finding the reason for that. LOL

Your adventure really deserves its own thread
Thanks for the suggestion of ASA. It's one I'll have to try.I Use ASA on an open Altillery Sidewinder X1, easier to Print than ABS and not that expensive, bought NUNUS ASA 1kG 22€ in Germany Amazon.
Ok Guys, i got my own Speaker Build Thread here:
Hello, here i would present and discuss my new Speaker Design stepp by stepp.
At the End i will use aktive Elektronic for Crosover.
But also the Use of an passiv Crossover i will show you.
My first Step is already done.
The Design off an Waveguide for my Harwood AMT25.

For the Midrange Speaker i will Use 2x Scanspeak 18W8434G00 Parallel.
I used the AMT 25 already in an 2 Way Box with an 18W4434G00 (Aktiv Time alligned) and this worked already very well.

Printed a sb26 4inch waveguide. I changed the outside shape to match the original round faceplate size.
For this one I also cut the lower part to match an sb12mnrx2.
@augerpro , I saw you did a special 5 inch version for the sb26STAC. It seems to behave better above 10k. What is the difference with the one done for sb26cac/cdc? Would it be possible to make the same on the 4inch ?

Yes I need to do a 4" for the SB26STAC but just haven't had the time. It requires a different profile than the metal SB26s so you can't use those waveguides.
If I can help you on that I would be glade to do it. SB acoutics provided me the TW29TXNWG 3d model so I think they would be ok to do it for the SB26stac if it can help to have an accurate dome profile?
It is hit and miss to try and simulate a soft dome tweeter in a waveguide using BEM. A soft dome does not behave like a piston over most of it's range, this most often makes the simulated result and reality different.SB26stac if it can help to have an accurate dome profile

Thanks for all the effort and time you put there!
Please when you update the 4" stac waveguide let us know!
PS. My bad, i saw that you have deleted the previous versions of the stac so we can check ourselves! Thanks again!

hi brandon,Measuring all 4 prototypes today. Verifying the baffle diffraction model and whether roundover or chamfer works best. I tried my best match the baffle diffraction to the native response of the drivers - mostly the woofer. Model 1 is Satori textreme and Be, Model 2 is SB "ceramic", Model 3 is SB's entry level drivers, and Model 5 is Scanspeak Discovery and either SB26STAC or CAT308. All tweeters on waveguides of course.

In the crossover filter development phase, in the speaker driver far field measurements, is the measurement microphone position facing the waveguide center or a position between the mid driver and the waveguide?
Not exactly related to the waveguides, but I know there are a lot of posts regarding 3D printing and settings.
The Bambu Labs P1P is on sale for $399 which is a pretty incredible price. It was $550 a week ago, which seemed like a good price, but they are having their 3rd Anniversary Sale. (It looks like until July 15th.)
