Sonido fullrange driver thoughts?

Thanks for your kind comments gentlemen!
I chose the 250 because I wanted a bit more air movement, particularly bass, but I wanted the bass still to be fast, and still have decent vocals.
A 12 inch version sounds Amazing, but would probably need a large box.. for “ brave” people!!

Haha 😆, it seems lack of time in a Universal problem!
Looking forward to hearing from Istvan, if the 12 inchers are the best way forward!!
I only got this far! Hopefully I can put it all together tomorrow!

Well, they are running!! And I’m listening to them at the moment!!
I’m TOTALLY IMPRESSED!!
Having spent the last 18 months perfecting Folded Voigt pipe boxes to suit SB Acoustics 8 incher, and getting what I thought 💭 was a great result, and then I throw these brand new speakers into a basic Bass Reflex box and the sound is LIGHT YEARS Ahead!!

Maybe 🤔 I should have waited for the brand new 12 inchers!!

TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!

Nice, but I cannot agree that Sonido is in a "basic bass reflex box".
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. It looks just like an ML-TL, so...
Sonido is in the Mass Loaded Transmission Line enclosure.
But, all of that is less important. The most important now is that it sounds good 🙂

Thanks 😊 Gents,
It’s a design that Istvan (SONIDO) modeled, so there is nothing wrong with that!

My point is that I’ve spent 18 months, building Eleven boxes ( that latest of quite advanced construction), to get my little SB Acoustics 8 inch drivers to really sing 🎶, when I could have just bought these drivers, CNCed the boxes and assembled them in an hour or two, and Still been miles ahead! ( And not wasted all that time ⏰!)( I looked at SONIDO drivers 12 months ago, but procrastinated……)

Still, sometimes the Journey is as important as the Destination!!!

Anyway thanks to Istvan! 😊👍
Keeping a small company alive, making World 🌎 Class products, in this crazy world has got to be challenging, but I’m glad that there are still people doing that!

Point taken, Zen Mod!
It’s a Big Job, but someone has to do it!! 😊

My excuse is that I’m pretty new to DIYAUDIO, I was trying to Learn from “Stereonet DIY”,an Australian forum website, but it hasn’t been very helpful.
So I’m sharing my SONIDO experiences there, hopefully to help other people!
