Some speaker driver measurements...

Thank you for the review.

In that frequency range : how compare the sound of Textrene VS PP doped Mica à la Audiotechnology or Hivi, please ?

Also some testimonied textrene tweeter sounds a little similar to true ceramic tweeters, what is your listening experience about that?
TeXtreme is more neutral and transparent in comparison with PP.

None of TX tweeters I heard doesn't sound like a true ceramic tweeter (Accuton).

Ceramic is more fast, solid and transparent. TeXtreme is softer, smooth and more relaxing. The TX timbre is warmer, the ceramic one is colder

Notice the Be could be even more problematic being produced in USA.
Price is stupdly high from the driver brands as some know it was so not expensive from Materion.
Dickason said Be sounds warmer than Textrene. Many diyers say Textrene sound more dark and natural with lack of sparkle for the rock or brass instruments.
Not saying some are ring dome, some not.
Hard to have an real idea from the readings and even harder to buy them all. Hete in France, the Biesma have raised their prices to the point they risk to loose their customers.

It was said the 32mm bliesma Al measure better than the 32 Be.

Anyway, at the beginning the T25Be was 300 e a pair, now it is 700. W/o me...

I have hard time to understand how Purifi could do better than ScanSpeak or SB Acoustics. Hope Hificompass is going to recieve one.

And the Kaiser acoutics designer got a pair for testing, says he wants to sell his T34B now.
Totally different behaviour off axis. Use what fits your design.

It would be very interesting to compare T34A and the Purifi tweeter.

These big tweeters are a different league for high power home cinema, 1" tweeters can't get that SPL level. Purifi designed the off axis behaviour with the tweeter - all normal tweeters just behave as they do with their membrane size. Of course this will sound different in a room.
