I'm not defending anything.
That's what it seemed like to me, in fact I said "it's as if".

Just correcting the inaccuracies in your posts.
Frankly, I see inaccuracies here often, and although not always I'm trying to come to terms with ithem.

However, from my side a fact remains: despite your statements we do not know everything inside the electrical signal, so I would say "everything known".

Please watch this, I think it will help:
A few years ago I was like this author of video and in a camp of commentators below it. Earlier I've laughed of my colleague of his hearing feelings and also say that all cables with similar cross-section are similar and it just school physics bla bla. I know Ohm law, understand Kirchhoff law, nowadays I honestly hear the difference between different components in my system, but my knowledges aren't enough for understaning and for explanation what's happening for example with sound of DAC or AMP power supply after changing of its power cord (or another cables, first I can propose for myself to explain it is different inductivity and capacitance, etc). Perhaps the main thing is in connectivity between different metals, perhaps not, anyway I hear it and this is not psychoacoustics (which I also trolled my friend eariler, meaning that "audiophile grade" expansive cord or something else will sounds good for you only because you spend much money for it and your brain will wait for positive changes because of price of thing).
With my previous statements I also dont propagade any expensive audiophile components, perhaps they don't fit for yours system. I use quite cheap cables and quite cheap DAC/AMP/Speakers, but not usual "computer multimedia" level. And I've situations with expancive cables which I don't like to hear in my system, just because they don't fit it. Also I have an expirience with such power cord that I like to hear very much but I'll not buy it because of price, it was in my principle too expensive for my system...

If you don't hear something or if you belive that you will not hear this, it is your choice and your opinion or your health abilities, but be respectful of other people's opinions.

This topic should be named : Will you feel the same emotions and quality of ride on two cars from different continents and vendors, but if they both have in visual measuremets similar weight, similar door quantity, similar CO2 emission and similar acceleration 0-100 ???

I'm really sorry but you are imagining the difference with power cords. Psychological effects should never be underestimated.

There are no measurements that show a difference with expensive power cords. You really are just imagining it. I've been there myself. I know how strong the feeling can be.

You sure have a talent to seem unsympathetic combined with a too large ego when saying personal things not meant personally.
For me, opinions matter, and as far as ego is concerned, no one can be excluded.
I’m not for personalisms, although I was forced to make an exception for someone (just a few).
I detest even only the idea of using an Ignore list.
Also, I love bio-diversity. 😉

In my circles we would say that is not very scientific. It seems your seemingly large ego forced you. Of course I would not want to risk appearing incorrect in front of other audio enthusiasts by making categorical statements but let's suggest it seems time to stop personalisms.

P. S.: While I was replying, you added more to your post, I'm not criticizing just saying, and I find your judgments inappropriate (if I may).
However I'll consider them opinions in your case.
I've no condescending tone, with no one.
An opinion is still an opinion no matter who it comes from.
And "evil", just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 😉

I know it, but not agree with such statement. We don't know what we need to measure to show it or simply we don't have such opportunity. But which will be your answer for my cars example ? And the main thing, I spoke not exactly about expencive power cords. Just different power cords
Very unscientific of you. All the power cord is doing is delivering electricity the extra 1 or 2 metres into your components. Its psychological - the one factor we know can have an effect but the one you want to ignore.

Does that matter? I've had various sound systems over the years. I'm wondering if you're one of those people who think you need a very expensive system to hear differences?
There are costs involved to do things properly. An APx machine as used by ASR is like $30k - does that matter? and so does listening gear. My own experience, I couldn’t find difference in DACs with less resolving hardware

Define "less resolving hardware". Newer budget class D amps are highly resolving. The APx machine is $30k because it needs to be able to measure way down below the threshold of hearing. Way below. oh and it uses a standard power cord 😉

Everyone in this thread wants to ignore the elephant in the room - psychological effects. Much bigger factor than you like to think.
