They're part of a handful of simple kits I did for KJF Audio (I don't get anything out of this so no conflict of interest), which were designed to accept all of the current 5 3/4in MA drive units with minimal changes. The LF alignment & objective is different with each model of course as they have varying Vas values and levels of EM damping. The Vb stated above is slightly incorrect since it doesn't account for the varying amounts taken by the different drive units & venting.

Given they are your design, I’m certain they will be great with any of the drivers…But, given the correct porting, which of these drivers would be expected to provide the most even frequency response overall, which would give the most bass and best balance of the two?

Strictly speaking, 'none, none and none' is the answer because (I know it sounds counter-intuitive) there isn't a black / white to those.
Since that isn't very useful 😉 with CHN-110 installed, the alignment is roughly a well-damped Pi-Align with a slightly raised tuning to provide a touch more output in the octave above Fb which suits the driver's response characteristics & allows a stock vent to be used. Pluvia 11 has a slightly higher Fb & slightly flatter response (still mildly damped) around Fb since the driver has more EM damping & again, this suits its basic response characteristic. It wasn't designed for MAOP11, but it shares similar basic LF characteristics to the Pluvia 11 it's based on, so the same applies there. Alpair 11MS falls roughly between the two, again suiting its response character & EM damping. There isn't a 'best' because, particularly with unfiltered wideband drive units, a given fixed alignment on an LF graph doesn't really tell you much about the general balance of the speaker and what tends to work well for a given set of available dimensions. It's basically a mechanical / acoustic variation on the old 'smiley face' EQ curve. If you start out with a flat line & boost one end of the response, the speaker will usually sound unbalanced. Kick both extremes up, it will typically sound as though things have come back to neutral again. Technically they haven't as far as the bald FR is concerned, but that's how it's gererally perceived. This is over-simplified but you get the general idea. For what it's worth, I prefer CHN-110 and Alpair 11MS in this enclosure -the general balance of the drivers suits me, especially 11MS (albeit at a price). The Pluvia I tend to prefer in different sorts of loads. But that's just a reflection of my taste rather than anything functional: while you can easily hear the differences between the drivers & their alignments (as you'd expect / hope), they all work well, and for the price / size I suspect most people would be happy with any of the available options.

Be fun to explore Mark audios most budget friendly line. Dave often speaks highly of these drivers too. Maybe I’ll try the 11MS later.

Fun “quick” build! Not bass monsters—did not expect them to be. Still breaking in and sound lovely! Pair well with a subwoofer. Might try to sneak these into the living room with a small tube amp…see if the wife notices. 😜 Thanks Scott! @Scottmoose
Nice speakers but designed as part of a surround sound system and do best with bass augmentation. Any recommendations for a stand mount box with maybe a little more bass response and somewhat functional with a SET amp for a bedroom system (small room @ 70dB or less )? Scott or Dave’s designs? Easy build.

Looking for suggestions for the CHN 110, but I do have a set of 12p drivers (still awaiting a long delayed Joan build) which could use an interim home.
Would appreciate stand mount recommendations for both!
Again, simple build stand mount for small bedroom, 70 DB or less, somewhat agreeable with a SET.

Leaning toward the DCR designs. Forgive my ignorance, but do the DCR designs play well (enough) with lower power SET‘s or would I be better served staying with a more “basic” reflex?
It shouldn't make a great deal of difference; the load is mildly more reative but since they're providing broader band gain its six of one, half a dozen of the other.
