Thanks Zoom for recommendation. I have built 3 of these boards back in stone age but now need to reinvent wheel. I might come back to you later. Thanx again.
just be sure the input i2s through hole arrengement is the same if you have a monoblock input plug from your front end.
If you can uf-l connections is a little plus according the quality of your digital frontend

Hi diyiggy,
sure I have noticed your posts a 100 times and still enjoy your special sense of humor!
I have noticed correctly, the text on the DAC board you sent, is the same as on Miro's board which in fact is on page 1 of Miros legendary thread.

All tribute to Miro, He does have great sense of humor and he is a very inspiring guy not only on the technical. I DO like his philosophy; remind me the slow food movement born in Italy.
The gerbers I gave is exactly all HIS front end and I just tweaked all the output stage to give more freedom on 3 things that migth be important or not according everyone needs:
: it is made for very fast op amp for soic smd size. (and has tricks about that in the layout while using 2 layers)
That's all, it is not better than miro1360, it is a tribute to his work and a modest contribution. I do have a 4 layers options that is enterily layout remade but this one is not shared and I wonder if it could be solded for a small fees, but it has nothing to see here in this good thread. 🙂
Edit : I dunno my special humor migth have some cultural limitation in some countries due to the strong anbiant moral wokism credo of: "all-is-fine-show must-goes-on,-never-discuss-of salt-grain-in-the-machin" phenomology typed; but it is never made as a mechant behavior 😉. See itmore as "when everyone agree, let's call that dictature" 🙂 🥷

Am I not a french deaf rooster with strong intolerable behavior, am I? 😉 !

- it allows you to choose the voltage you need according the op amps you want to try (some needs different voltage than 12V common plug of miro's board)
- it is a two stage op amps for the few that needs a further buffer stages some op amps for I/V could be weak here and/or for headphone lovers that needs high current voltahe folllower >150 mA a standalone chip for I/V doesn't allow (for many) ! For instance there are "plenty" 200 mA and more op amps for difficult cans.
- It is anti coldpissssss spirit as I don't advice special op amps end of the game although I had an idea when making it.

My question has been posted and answered but still escapes my grasp.
I have a spare chassis and I'm building the AD1862 with the ECO 1 PSU.
I will automatically ground the incoming 120V to the chassis but beyond that I'm
still a bit puzzled.
grounding strategy for a modular DAC
Regards,
Dan

So for 5V
Thanks. I think I even used it somewhere before.really, for the input board(s) that's all you need,
https://www.meanwell-web.com/en-gb/pcb-modules/all-power-format/all-output-voltage-v/1/5/110-230-universal-input/ac-dc-single-output-encapsulated-power-supply-irm--05--5?returnurl=/en-gb/pcb-modules/all-power-format/all-output-voltage-v/1/5/110-230-universal-input/#irm-05-5
look on usual web shops for meanwell irm 05-5, and you're good to go, don't need too much refinement there
No, security matters. That is at least for low voltage pcbs with opamps, if you use tubes, it is perhaps another story.Sounds like I might be 'overthinking' the issue.

Dan
What I really can't get is where are you from ? France ? 😉just "Earth" the chassis. from the plug wall wire (earth conector) Do not share it with the pcb ground. Do earth the shielding screen (wire) of some EI-Core or C-Core if existing (too much rare alas).
@miro1360 check your coffee stash 😉 Your boards are in, just tiny things, so simple. Also thanks to the mighty @prasi, always excellent work from that man.
If anyone is interested in trying the AD1865R SOIC chip then I have a few adapters spare, also some simple AD1865 UFL connector DAC boards, quite specific but can be used with the JLSounds V3 module.
AD1865R SOIC is much cheaper and easier to find.

@Legend Electronics is a solid vendor, excellent packing and quick shipping for AD1865R chips.

Or is there Gerbers one can download anywhere?
If he were from France wouldn't he be on strike. What I really can't get is where are you from ? France ? 😉

A country with a st. Jaume feast?Do they have electricity? 🤣
Nah the only country where the electrons are in strike too ! 😍 (they are fed up with working too fast...)
When you want music there you ask a druid ! 🤔 (Overtore of olympic Games spolier 🙂 )
