It's a multi layers fully smd board , it will be very difficult to work on it , things can degrade very easily , it's up to you 😉

Those caps wont hurt will they, leaving them there?a simple LDOVR , LT3045 500 mA module is enought for the job at the Digital side of the chip
dont forget to remove the in and out caps around the 7805 they will be for no use anymore , the module has it's owns caps

Those caps are for the regulator ripple and stability , no need for the new module , measurements will tell you their real effect if you keep them in
