Infineon MA12070 Class D

Cool ! Your amp therefore has a 4-brush potentiometer...
I'm suspicious, I previously owned a Sabaj A20 with balanced inputs, but the volume management was asymmetrical....The digital volume chip could not manage more than 2 asymmetrical channels...A big joke! :headbash:

I would completely remove the potentiometer from input.
Completely agree!
Volume management on My DIY amp is managed by Xmos or other digital interface, no problem pairing cabone tracks and sputtering brushes...
You just have to be careful, after installing the Xmos drivers or other, to reset the volume to a reasonable level....
Windows sets everything to full by default...🙄🙄🙄

Well can’t find any measurements so difficult to assess if full potential is reached. Maybe HF noise is introdused when removing input stage?
That aside i see there is no internal volume settings exept 20/26 dB gain in the chip.
I need to be able to set volume on the board so I will need the pot.

Thanks for helping to assess the board and suggest ways to improve them and expose differential input
