Hmm, you are right, did not see it the right way.
Personally I did not take that route for several reasons.

I never did. My pcbs are single TPA3251/3255 MonoBlocks in parallel BTL configuration.

Most of the time I use Li-Ion accus - either 8x18650 or a complete e-bike 36V accu.
Otherwise I have one amp fired by an offline-LLC-converter with unregulated 40V=
that I designed myself. I would not expect problems with any good quality smps.
