According to the datasheet you can get 160W in PBTL mode (10% THD), but only with a 2 ohm load. That's the catch.
Oh, alright. That's a low, low resistance. Perhaps two 4Ω drivers in parallel.
So I guess it'd be 40W on 8Ω? Right now I have it in stereo mode on a pair of Klipsch Ref IV RF62, which are rated for 125W, and I can tell you it does not sound like a mere 20W at full volume. On the other hand, it doesn't even get luke warm ... the heat sink just stays at room temperature.

Where in the datasheet can I read measurements with PBTL mode? can only find BTL.
10% THD is bad.. but at what point does it reach that levels?
I'm not gonna push it to these levels of course. Just curious about the performance.
If really bad I can just as well use one board in BTL..

Thanx.
So,, does this mean that it has TDH 1% at 1Khz with 120W power.
I would love to see real measurements.. specifically when distortion starts to rise..
I,m not sure I ever will use that kind of power for my speakers..
But I,m no expert.. I just heard that these sound fantastic 🙂

This is cheap now.
I like it moore than Topping Pa3s.

If removing the little caps is to tedious for you just cut traces right after the caps and attach wires on the chip side of the caps.
Remove Opamps for reduced power consumption.

As far as I understand, you brought the balanced signal from the DO200 to the two places where the caps were (+ and - signal).indicated removed caps
Where the GND from the balanced connection from the DO200 was connected?
At which point is the + signal and where is the - signal?
Not really important as long as the same polarity is used on both chips. Pin 5 and 6 form the left are A+ and A-.
For ground I used a chinch cable form DL200 to Amp module.

Tested quite a few MA12070 boards and the winner is double Chip €30 board fed by
SMSL DL200 differential signal to indicated removed caps
. Skipping active stage is best. Output stage on DL200 has no coupling cap either.

Ugh and ****...I just ordered 3...
This will be perfect for my multichannel dac based on AK4493seq, with unbalanced outputs.
This would perhaps satisfy the nostalgia of my Sabaj A20a, which I sold...
Great find, for the price and seems easy to modify!
the winner is double Chip €30 board
Maybe a little cheaper and has a case...😉
